Quality Neurology
Quality Neurology is an audit and evaluation tool designed by the MS Society, Parkinson’s UK, MND Association and Ataxia UK. We use it in specific local areas that would like our support. It measures how an area’s health and social care services meet the National Service Framework for long-term neurological conditions (NSF).
We organise the audit with a bespoke Excel spreadsheet that measures whether the 11 quality requirements in the NSF are met, part met or not met.
An important part of the audit is collecting service users’ views through a mix of focus groups, surveys and interviews.
We use the audit results to agree priorities for service improvement when we are working in a particular local area.

If you think neurology services in your locality would benefit from auditing and evaluation, please get in touch.
